Mermaid Lounge is a peculiar place; an establishment without a structure, a room without a ceiling. It's ambience, an attitude, a notion inclined toward idiosyncrasy. It's music mainly, but also a bit of visual art, some writing, some of that scratching and digging around in the underground. Above all, it's independent - every inch of it dedicated to music and culture produced by those nonconformists out there who can't help but go their own way.
