About Us

KSJD is public radio serving Montezuma and Dolores Counties since 1987.

We are proud to operate in a community radio model, meaning volunteer leadership powers much of the local programming and operations of the station.

KSJD is licensed to the San Juan Basin Technical College and is managed by agreement by Community Radio Project, a 501-C3 non-profit corporation based in Cortez.

It is the mission of Community Radio Project to promote and sustain non-commercial, community based broadcasting that supports the inclusive voice, education and interests of our diverse rural audience in Montezuma County and the Four Corners Region.

KSJD's Financial support comes from membership contributions from listeners, underwriting from the business community, and foundation grants.
