Cornerstone receives $75,000 grant from the Gates Family Foundation.

The State Historical Fund awarded Cornerstone a $240,000 grant for the preservation and rehabilitation of the Montezuma Valley National Bank Building. For every dollar given locally, the State Historical Society will match your donation with $3 more dollars, up to a total of $320,000.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development Office made a $40,000 grant to Cornerstone, Community Radio Project's effort to rehabilitate the Montezuma Valley National Bank building in Cortez as a hub of commerce and community activity.

The Montezuma Valley National Bank Building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on Jan. 15 in recognition of its contribution to the heritage of the state of Colorado.
