Monday, July 6thMancos Student Easton LaChappelle finished second in the 2012 Intel International Science Fair in Pittsburgh, Pa. in the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering category. The Intel ISEF is the premier global science competition for students in grades 9-12 and we'll meet Easton on Monday's Zine.

The Firewise Council of Southwest Colorado helps homeowners understand and mitigate the risk involved in wildfire. On the Zine Tuesday at 8:30, learn about the impact Firewise had on the Weber Canyon Fire and its aftermath.

The ManKind Project is a global not for profit organization [501 (c)(3)] that conducts challenging and highly rewarding trainings for men at every stage of life. The organization is committed to building leadership in our communities. We'll meet with members of the local chapter to talk about the organization, its goals and its effect on our community.
