State of the Re:Union continues on Sundries this Sunday morning at 9am. In this episode, Oakridge, Oregon. Back in the timber industry's heyday, this small mill town was thriving. Business was booming. Then in the early 1990s, the saws stopped. The mills shut down and their economies crumbled. State of the Re:Union surveys how a town that has lost its identity reinvents itself through recreation, community-building, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Join KSJD for Raise Your Hand: a week-long series examining the ballot questions in the Cortez, Dolores, and Mancos School Districts on the Zine. We start our coverage on Monday morning at 8:30 with a discussion of how education is funded in Colorado and some of the factors that are affecting school budgets in the state's rural areas.
