Get to know a man who struggles, and mostly fails, to contain his violent outbursts...until he meets a bird who can keep him in check. And a senior center stumbles upon an unexpected way to help Alzheimer's patients -- by building a bus stop.

Pandora's Box is KSJD's bi-monthly program that looks at the other side of the story on the environment and your health. Tune in to the Tuesday morning Zine at 8:30 to hear about how healthy sleeping habits can help you survive the holidays.

Wednesday, December 5th

As drought conditions continue in the Four Corners area, many residents are beginning to be concerned about water availability in the short term and into the future. Join us on the Wednesday morning Zine at 8:30 for a conversation about climate change in our area, and how water scarcity issues may affect agriculture and domestic use in the coming months.

Thursday, December 6th

Americorps members play an important role in supporting non-profit organizations across the country and here in southwest Colorado. Tune in to the Thursday morning Zine at 8:30 to hear from two Americorps members who are currently serving at the Bridge Emergency Shelter in Cortez about how they got involved in the program and their perspective on the issue of homelessness.

Tune in to Native Voltage at 8pm on Thursday night for an interview with Lights On For Safety, a band from Shiprock, New Mexico.
