The environmental consequences of uranium mining on the Navajo Nation has taken a devastating toll on the health of those who were exposed, and particularly on Navajo pregnancies and birth outcomes. Tune in to the Wednesday morning Zine at 8:30 to hear about a study that is currently underway to look at how uranium exposure is affecting the children of those who have been affected.
