Casting Call: Sunflower Theatre Hosts Auditions for ‘Martian Chronicles’ Radio Play

Jan 16, 2019

Looking for an opportunity that’s out of this world? The Sunflower Theatre is seeking volunteers for an upcoming radio adaptation of Ray Bradbury’s “The Martian Chronicles.”

The radio play — a first to be broadcasted at KSJD — will run over three consecutive nights, beginning March 1.

The theatre is looking for actors, musicians and foley artists. No experience is required. (Of course, it’s not advised to join as a musician if you can’t read sheet music or play an instrument.)

Auditions will take place on Jan. 24 and 25; call the theatre at 970-516-1818 or visit its website for more information.

Director Desiree Henderson joined KSJD’s Daniel Rayzel to share what auditioners can expect for a role in “The Martian Chronicles.”
