Farmers produce crops in the southwest tha go to Mexico & Canada

Farmers and ranchers  in the the U. S. have come to depend upon exports of many agricultural commodities to Mexico and Canada to help support domestic crop and livestock prices.  When representatives of the Trump administration talk about scrapping the North American Free Trade Agreement they get worried.

Farmers in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah have reasons to worry, because of the amount of agricultural production that is sent to Mexico and Canada.  Of all exports that are shipped out of these four states to world trade, Arizona sends 52%,  Colorado 48%,  New Mexico 58%, and Utah 20% of their exports to Canada and Mexico.
