The superintendent of Dolores Schools is leaving to take a job in Grand Junction. The Cortez Journal reports that Scott Cooper, who has been with Dolores for seven years, will be assistant superintendent of the Mesa Valley County School District. He will remain in Dolores for the next two months to help with the transition.
