Combined Federal Campaign

KSJD is part of the Combined Federal Campaign, which enables employees of the Federal government to elect to make charitable contributions to member organizations BEFORE TAXES as a payroll deduction. 

In the CFC, KSJD is recognized as Four Corners Community Radio Project and is numbered #72510.

Volunteer

As a community public radio station, KSJD could not function without the support of volunteers from our community.  Use your strengths to help KSJD thrive! 

Volunteers at KSJD host on-air programming, answer phones during membership drives, coordinate volunteers for events, design graphic materials for our website and print media, organize our music library, serve on our Board of Directors, recruit talent for on-air interviews, keep their ears to the ground for issues and concerns our local people have, even help stuff envelopes.

With the addition of KICO, KSJD is now the only radio station in Rico, an audience that shops, dines and seeks entertainment both in and outside of Rico.

How underwriting works

You receive an on-air underwriting acknowledgment in a particular program and time slot. Underwriting is sold on a per-mention basis. Discounts are available for long-term underwriting commitments, high-frequency schedules, and account pre-payments. KSJD is pleased to customize underwriting programs to a company's needs and budgets.

Sponsor a Concert or a Special Event: Sponsorship opportunities are available for a variety of KSJD-produced live concerts and special events.

Sponsor a Drive:  Your $500 tax-deductible contribution acts as a matching challenge to listeners. They hear you challenge them to match your contribution and often mention your business name when phoning in their pledges. Your exclusive one-day coverage gets your name in front of our listeners in a unique and compelling way.

Contribute In-kind Items or Services:  Businesses can offer contributions to on-air membership drives such as weekend get-away packages, tickets to events, or even supply food for volunteers during the drives. Businesses can also contribute time as a guest during on-air membership drives, or sign up to answer phones and earn recognition that way.
