Railroads played a vital role in the import and export of food in and out of southwest Colorado in the early 1900s. Big Fat Farm Show host Sarah Syverson talks with Lew Mathis of the Galloping Goose Historical Society, and Chuck McAfee, whose family started farming in Montezuma County over 100 years ago, about what food distribution networks looked like in historic times, and the ways that farmers and families survived through difficult times like the Great Depression.
