The Native American Graves and Repatriation Act (commonly known as NAGPRA) requires that federally funded institutions return human remains and cultural items to affiliated tribes. KSJD's Tom Yoder talks with Dr. Kathleen Fine-Dare, Professor of Anthropology and Gender and Women's Studies at Fort Lewis College, about how this law has been applied over its 25-year history, what has been accomplished, and the work that has yet to be done.
