Teen Gardening Class
The Good Samaritan Center Food Pantry in Cortez is offering teen gardening classes on the second Friday of each month from 3:30 to 5:30pm. These classes weave together the science of gardening and the cultural roots of growing food, and will cover topics ranging from planning, harvesting, and crop rotation, to the impacts of settler colonialism on modern crops and food equity.
