Seeds of Survival: Desert Archaic Lifeways of the Great Basin and Colorado Plateau Lecture
On Saturday, June 6th at 2:00pm Canyons of The Ancients Visitor Center and Museum will host a lecture by Nicholas LaPalm exploring Desert Archaic Lifeways of the Great Basin and Colorado Plateau.
The program will examine the transition from big-game hunting to plant-based subsistence, early food-processing technologies, and the use of native plants in arid environments through archaeology and ethnobotany.
