Porchlight Health is seeking volunteers for its bi-monthly Victim Impact Panel—a program designed to educate individuals convicted of DUIs through firsthand stories. The panel features those personally affected by impaired driving, and Porchlight is currently looking to expand its roster of speakers.

Board, dice, and card game sessions take place at Bitterblossom Games on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Bring your own games or play the ones available on site.
The Over The Hill Gang Cortez Car Club meets on the second Wednesday of each month at the United Methodist Church, located at Empire and Park Streets. Meet and greet begins at 6pm, followed by the meeting at 7pm. Anyone with a love for cars is welcome! For details, call 970-560-1891.

Every Thursday at 5:30pm The Pinon Project hosts Alphabet Soup. This a program for parents and caretakers of children with special needs or challenging behaviors.Dinner and childcare are provided. Further information is available at pinonproject.org
A new Toastmasters club is forming in Cortez in collaboration with the Montezuma Leadership Network. Meetings will be held at the Cortez Chamber of Commerce on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 5:30 to 6:30pm. All are welcome!

Hospice of Montezuma will facilitate a weekly meeting for men each Friday from 2:00 - 3:30pm.
This group is for men who might benefit from sharing things that have been weighing on their minds. Seeing things from a new perspective is often very helpful. Mental health matters!

The Lightbox at Stillwater Music in Durango will host a festive student concert. The Winter Wonderbands youth music showcase is on Saturday, December 13th from 12:00-6:30pm.
Featuring fourteen unique performances from youth bands ranging from ukulele, vocal, rock, beginner to advanced, this event will will also offer cider and a silent auction.
Tickets and advance booking are not necessary.
The Cortez Recreation Center, in partnership with TeamUp, hosts "Teen Hangout Nights" every second and fourth Saturday from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.
These events are hosted for Middle Schoolers on 2nd Saturdays, High Schoolers on 4th Saturdays.

Four Corners Food Not Bombs will provide an opportunity for mutual aid at the pink warehouse at 30 N. Beech Street in Cortez on Sundays from noon to 1:30pm. Everyone is invited, but not required, to bring a vegetarian or vegan dish to share. Needed items include tents, sleeping bags, hygiene supplies, and socks.
