The elderly lose billions a year to scammers who prey on the best intentions of seniors, or scare them into sending them money. KSJD's Tom Yoder spoke with Cortez Chief of Police Roy Lane and Linda Carter of C&G Health Care Management about how these scammers operate, what kinds of fraud they are inflicting on the elderly, and ways that family members can help make sure their older loved ones don't become a victim of scams.
