On February 13th, the owners of the Navajo generating station near Page, AZ, announced their plans to close the plant in 2019. In response, Navajo Tribal Council speaker LoRenzo Bates told KSJDthe closure would bring serious economic repercussions. But environmental activist group Diné Care says access to water and health of the people who live in the region are more important than money.
