A group of about 20 non-profits in and around Montezuma County, known as the Montezuma Inspire Coalition, has received almost two million dollars from Great Outdoors Colorado. It’s a grant that’s intended to promote programs that will encourage kids to spend time outdoors. The coalition has recently hired two employees to coordinate the grant implementation.
