Leah Grams Johnson on the Joys, Challenges of Music

Singer-songwriter Leah Grams Johnson comes to the Sunflower Theatre Friday to share her contemporary folk and country music with the Four Corners.

The alumna of Berklee College of Music’s songwriting program splits her time between Colorado and Tennessee to further hone her craft.

KSJD's Tom Yoder talked with Leah about her early beginnings in music, the joys and challenges of being a professional musician, and what audiences can expect at her performance on Friday.

Tom worked as an archaeologist in the Four Corners area for many years before his passion for radio and storytelling brought him to KSJD. He volunteered as a DJ at station and served on the Community Radio Project's board of directors before joining the staff as the Programming & Media Director in 2010.
