KSJD and Sunflower Theatre to Focus on News, Limit Office Access and Postpone Performances

Effective immediately, KSJD and The Sunflower Theatre will limit access to our offices at 2 E. Main Street in Cortez due to the coronavirus pandemic. We are also postponing all Sunflower shows through April 6. We made this decision in consultation with local health officials in order to protect our staff, volunteers, and patrons.

Office access will be limited to essential staff and will be closed to the public. Our volunteer DJ shifts are also suspended through April 6, instead broadcasting prerecorded music programming.

During this time KSJD will continue to broadcast local, regional, and national news. Our reporter will be monitoring the situation and communicating its impact to the Four Corners community. KSJD is committed to serving our community during this challenging time with the most reliable and current information.

Contact executive director Wynn Jones at wynn@ksjd.org with any questions.

Wynn got her start in community radio in 1991 at KGNU in Boulder. She’s also worked at KZMU in Moab and KDUR in Durango and volunteered a many others. From the beginning she was passionate about the mission of community radio and how it connects people to each other and gives everyone a voice.
