  • Thanksgiving week snowstorms brought little relief to ongoing drought conditions in the Four Corners and throughout the West. 
  • Western Slope farmers and ranchers have lots of curiosity and concern about a proposed plan to pay them to use less water, according to a new study.
  • The Colorado Department of Transportation has announced periodic closures for Red Mountain Pass. Beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, the pass will undergo several closures of up to one hour for avalanche control work between Silverton and Ouray.
