Minor Earthquakes Hit Southeastern Utah, Northwestern Colorado

An earthquake of magnitude 3.8 shook the ground in Southeast Utah around 10 Friday night.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports the minor quake was centered 13 miles west-southwest of Montezuma Creek. And the Denver Post reports that late Saturday morning, a 3.5-magnitude tremor was felt near Rangely in northwest Colorado. Neither caused injuries or serious damage.
