The Salt Lake City Council is pleading with managers of the Outdoor Retailer gear show to rethink their decision to pull out of Utah when their contract ends in 2018.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports the council passed a resolution calling for the Outdoor Industry Association to join the council in “a long-term strategy to protect and preserve public lands.”
