KSJD's monthly Veterans Affairs program is back, airing on the last Friday of the month with information important to vets in the Four Corners area. This morning KSJD's Tom Yoder talks with Bert Valencia of local VFW Post 5231 about the services being provided to vets through the Montezuma County Veterans Service Office, how veteran's benefits support the local economy, and grants that are available for additional support.
Tom Yoder is the Executive Director at KSJD and the Sunflower Theatre. He co-produces the Raven Narratives live storytelling project and podcast, produced the podcast "Fieldwork: Misadventures at the Edge of Science", and often hosts interviews on KSJD.
