Bethany Turner from Four Corners Writers discusses their upcoming anthology, supported by a grant from the LOR Foundation and 81321 launch, which will showcase local talent across fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. The anthology aims to highlight hidden talent in the Four Corners region and includes 10 works of short fiction, 10 works of nonfiction, and 20 poems. Submissions are open until September 1, with a focus on works by authors living in or near Cortez. For more information, visit fourcornerswriters.com.

Bethany also recently won a Colorado Book Award for Best Romance work for her book Brynn and Sebastian Hate Each Other. You can find out more information on her and her writing at seebethanywrite.com.

LP recently moved to Mancos from Austin, Texas, where they worked as a Case Manager for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and in HOA property management where they were fortunate to learn many different styles of communication and creative thinking/problem solving. In their time away from work, they watch a ton of movies (spanning all decades, nationalities, and genres), and tries to listen to one really good album every day.
