Art collection in the Southwest sometimes involves relationships between families that span generations. KSJD's Tom Yoder talks with Judith Lavender, whose New Mexico family's art collection is closely tied to interactions with Native American families that took place over the span of the last 100 years.

Judith will be presenting a lecture titled "Heart of Collecting: 50 Years of Collecting Southwestern Native American Art" on Thursday, June 5th, at Crow Canyon Archaeological Center at 7:00pm as part of the 2014 Four Corners Lecture Series.
