DEA National RX Takeback
On Saturday, October 24th from 10:00am until 2:00pm, Walgreens in Cortez will be the drop off point for the Drug Enforcement Administration RX takeback.
The DEA in partnership with The Cortez Police Department and Montezuma County Sheriff's Office will host this program where unwanted and unused medication can be handed in for safe disposal.
Please note that this doesn't include inhalers or vapes with batteries, intravenous syringes and needles or illegal narcotics.
