The Sunflower Theatre will host a five week songwriting class with Ely Cartwright starting Tuesday, September 30th and running until Tuesday, October 28th. The class will culminate with an optional showcase on Thursday, October 30th at 7:00pm.

The class is geared towards beginner and intermediate songwriters but can also cater towards those with more experience.

Topics covered will include object writing, melody, harmony, lyrics, prosody, song structure, breaking writer’s block, and performance.
