Calling local artists! KSJD is hosting a merch design contest and we want your artwork on our next run of T‐shirts, crewnecks, and hoodies. Open to artists living or working in the Four Corners region.

What We Are Looking For

One original, one‐color design that represents KSJD Community Radio. Designs may reference our radio and sunflower themes but any concept that reflects community, music, connection, or local culture is welcome. We are looking for a design with a spring & summer theme.

We accept a variety of mediums: digital graphic design, relief print (linocut/woodcut), ink, hand‐drawn art, etc. All submissions must be provided as a single‐color artwork suitable for apparel printing.

Required Submission Files & Attachments

● File Type & Color: Please submit your design as a single-color image. Vector files (.AI, .EPS, .SVG) are ideal, but we’ll also accept high-quality raster files (.PNG, .PSD, .JPG) as long as they can be converted into a usable, print-ready format.

● In your email, please include your name, phone number and email address, a statement about the design you created.

Keep It Human

This contest celebrates human creativity! Submissions must be created by the artist without the use of AI image-generation tools. Any designs found to be AI-generated, in whole or in part, will not be eligible.

Rights & Credit

By entering, artists confirm submissions are original. Winner grants KSJD a non‐exclusive, royalty‐free license to reproduce the design for merchandise and promotion (we will credit the artist). If you require different terms, note them in your submission.

How to Enter

Email submissions to: amanda@ksjd.org with subject “Merch Design Contest — [Your Name]” Attach the submission, statement, and contact details.
