What kind of story can you tell in 10 minutes? The Sunflower Troupe wants to know.
In June, the Sunflower Theatre will host Sunflower Shorts, featuring eight 10-minute plays from Four Corners playwrights. Anyone across the Four Corners states - Colorado, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico - are eligible to enter.
In addition to the time constraint, plays can not have more than three actors and must rely on simple stage design.
Kim Welty, one of the committee members for the Sunflower Troupe, is organizing the contest. She joined KSJD to talk about its inception and to share tips for writing a winning play.
