Colorado lawmakers are considering two bills that supporters say will make classrooms safer after last year’s deadly shooting at STEM school Highlands Ranch.
The Bureau of Land Management approved plans Thursday opening the former boundaries of Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante national monuments to increased grazing and energy development.
