Colorado lawmakers have passed a bill to end the death penalty. KSJD’s Scott Franz was on the House floor for the final vote.
Yucca House National Monument is another step closer to adding 160 acres to its boundary. The U.S. House passed an act Wednesday that would approve the transfer of donated private land to the monument’s current 33 acres.
