About 60 Mancos Elementary School students and parents gathered along Grand Avenue on Friday afternoon to welcome their principal back from the hospital.
Cathy Epps had been seriously injured in an automobile accident on January 2nd and flown to Denver for treatment. Mancos Fire engines escorted her car through town and students clapped and cheered to welcome her.
