On May 20th, Dolores River Boating Advocates organized a trip down the Lower Dolores River. But this trip was different than others- it included 19 mentees from the Pinon Project. Most of the kids had never been on a river trip before, and they said it was a great way to meet new people and learn about each other while being on the river. KSJD's Austin Cope sat down with three of the kids who took the trip, as well as Dolores River Boating Advocates' Amber Clark and the Pinon Project's Lauren Lacourciere to hear stories from their trip.
