Montezuma School to Farm Project, Mancos Conservation District Have New Director

The Montezuma School to Farm Project has new leadership as its parent organization restructures its staffing. According to a statement from the Mancos Conservation District, its former District Manager Gretchen Rank will oversee the operations of both the School to Farm Project and the rest of the Conservation District. The change comes after the departure of the Project’s previous director last month. The program operates school gardens and classes for students around Montezuma County. The board is now searching for an Assistant Director to oversee School to Farm's day-to-day operations.
