Alana Bond

Born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii, Alana moved to Colorado in 2005 chasing new adventures. Following her passion for connection and the outdoors, she wandered the state working as an educator both in the classroom and in the outdoors for over a decade. After settling down in Mancos in 2017, she began pursuing nonprofit work and served on the KSJD board of directors from 2018-2022. On her best days, you can find Alana playing in the forests and rivers with her husband, two kids, and two dogs or dancing in her kitchen as she cooks.
