At Fort Lewis College, a new project is underway to relabel bathrooms without mentioning gender expression. And in Cortez, local businesses like WildEdge Brewing Collective and the ZU Gallery are coordinating on ‘Fa La La La Local,’ a shopping event organized by the Cortez Retail Enhancement Association, or CREA.
Chris Clements is a former news reporter for KSJD. He had previously covered literary arts as a reporter for The Chautauquan Daily in Chautauqua, New York, and graduated with a degree in English from Arizona State University.
