Good morning!

I’m Lacy McKay.

Here's what's happening this weekend in the Four Corners, brought to you by the KSJD Community Calendar.

First, No Other Land, the Oscar-winning documentary, is making a return to the Sunflower Theatre for a second screening on Friday, May 9th at 7:00pm. You can find more details at sunflowertheatre.org.

Also on Friday, May 9th, La La Bones will perform at Fenceline Cider at 6:00pm. This five-piece bluegrass band, inspired by the landscape and history of southwestern Colorado, promises an evening of great music.

On Saturday, May 10th, the Mancos Library will host a Vegan Potluck at 12:30pm, organized by Four Corners and Durango Vegans. Bring a vegan dish or snack to share, along with your own plate and utensils. All are welcome!

Later that evening, Mancos Brewing Company presents The Metropolis Man at 5:00pm – a Phoenix-based soul-funk-roots rock band.

Finally, Four Corners Food Not Bombs will meet on Sunday, May 11th, from noon to 2pm at the pink warehouse on Beech Street in Cortez. Bring a vegetarian or vegan dish to share, and donations of gently used clothing and camping supplies are welcome.

That’s your roundup for the weekend. Check out the KSJD Community Calendar for more events and details! Find it at KSJD dot ORG or on the KSJD Public Radio app.
