Four days after they sent a letter urging the governor to reject former Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters' transfer to federal prison, Colorado's county clerks said Tuesday Polis' lack of decision on the issue is putting them at risk.

The seven states that use the Colorado River have until November 11th to present a basic plan to the federal government for how to allocate water in the river. But negotiations have been contentious, and spectators aren't sure whether there will be consensus.

Supporters are targeting state officials with an email campaign, while also calling on the Trump administration to take action.
