Upcoming Events: Pumpkin Fest
Thursday, October 28th, 2023 - 9:00 am - Montezuma Park in Cortez

The festival will kick off at 9 a.m. with a 5K Zombie Run starting at Montezuma Park. The race will be followed by a costume contest from 11 to 11:30 a.m., trick or treating down Main Street from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and games and a carnival from 12 to 2:30 p.m.

Lacy McKay is the News Director and Morning Edition Host at KSJD Community Radio in Cortez, Colorado. They bring years of experience in audio production and community-centered reporting, with a focus on rural issues, public lands, tribal affairs, and civic engagement in the Four Corners region. McKay has produced and edited news features, interviews, and podcasts for broadcast and digital platforms, and works closely with regional partners through Rocky Mountain Community Radio to amplify local voices and stories that might otherwise go unheard.
