Building Stories: Dendroarchaeology of the Hacienda de Gila
The First United Methodist Church in Cortez will play host to a presentation by Ronald Towner on Tuesday, August 5th at 6:00pm.
Ronald is a specialist in dendroarchaeology and Early Navajo archaeology and will talk about the original Lyons and Campbell Ranch Headquarters in Gila, New Mexico. This was known in the 1890s as headquarters of the 3rd largest cattle ranch west of the Mississippi.
