The Sunflower Theatre will host The Quivira Coalition and Chama Peak Alliance on Thursday, February 26th at 5:30pm for a screening of the documentary, "Thinking Like Water".
This compelling 5-part docuseries follows restoration pioneer, Bill Zeedyk and his collaborators as they work to transform degraded watersheds into healthier, more resilient ecosystems.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring local restoration experts and filmmaker Renea Roberts.

The K-9 Search and Rescue Team will host an all day educational workshop about wilderness survival training on Saturday, February 28th from 9:00am.
Participants will learn about a variety of skills including shelter building, signaling techniques, back country hygiene, fire craft, and more. Lunch will be provided.

Bears Ears Partnership will host their signature biennial event, Celebrate Bears Ears, on Saturday, March 7th from 8:00am in Bluff Community Center.
This event will include educational panels and discussions, as well as celebration and partnership to deepen the understanding of the Bears Ears landscape.

The San Juan Basin Archaeological Society invites the public to a presentation in the Lyceum at the Center of Southwest Studies and on Zoom on Wednesday, March 11th at 7:00 pm.
Daniel Hampson, FLC alumnus and staff member at Crow Canyon Archaeological Center, will present “Hidden on the Surface: Preliminary Findings from an Ongoing Review of Southwest LiDAR Data“.

On Thursday, March 12th at 5:30 p.m. Dolores Public Library will host an author talk with Robin Brodsky.
Robin will share stories from her world bike travels and debut her new book, "Confessions of a Lazy Cyclist".

On Friday, March 13th Cortez Public Library will host a Park Ranger from Mesa Verde National Park at 11:00am.
The ranger will teach kids about Ancestral Puebloan art and the people who made it. Children will have a chance to make a piece of art to take home.
