The Stillwater’s Lightbox venue in Durango will host an evening of dance and live music on Saturday, January 10th from 6:30pm.
Co-hosted by Stillwater Music and West Slope Westies, the event will also feature live music by Seven Sharp 11.

The Disabled American Veterans Outreach Center offers rides for Veterans to medical appointments and is looking for volunteer drivers to join the team. Vehicles and gas are provided for these trips.

A National Sticker Day celebration will take place at ZU Gallery on Tuesday, January 13th from 5:00 to 8:00pm.
Everyone is invited to drop in to make custom stickers at the DIY station, swap stickers with others, and help decorate a community sticker door. Attendees can bring stickers to trade or come empty-handed.

The SAFE Coalition will host a conversation hour every second Wednesday of the month at Wild Edge Brewing Collective in Cortez from 8:00 to 9:00am for ranchers and farmers.
Working on suicide prevention in Montezuma County, The SAFE Coalition seeks to create a simple space for ranchers and farmers to connect with one another over coffee.

An International Kite Day celebration will take place at ZU Gallery on Wednesday, January 14th from 5:00 to 8:00pm.
Anyone can drop in to decorate kites with the provided art supplies. Finished kites will be displayed hanging in the gallery.

The Cult Movie Federation of Mancos will screen "The Commitments", on Thursday, January 15th at 6:00pm at Mancos Opera House.
In this 1991 cult classic, ”Jimmy Rabbitte, bored with bands in Ireland, assembles a soul band in the tradition of Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding, and Aretha Franklin which is made up of a group of young white musicians from working class Dublin.
