The Pinon Project will host The Incredible Years Advanced Parenting Class every Tuesday from 1:00 - 3:00pm.This class is for parents and caregivers of children aged from 2 to 10 years. Cortez Public Library will feature a presentation by writer, Dan Chiras, on Tuesday, May 6th from 4:00 - 6:00pm.
In this talk, he will take a humorous look at the most common gaffes and blunders in the English language and how to correct them.
Cortez Integrated Healthcare hosts a peer-led addiction recovery support group every Tuesday at 5:00 PM. Participants will learn practical recovery tools in a supportive, non-12-step environment.

As part of the Ute Mountain Mesa Verde Birding Festival, Cortez Cultural Center will host a live raptor presentation on Wednesday, May 7th, at 5:30pm.Participants will learn about raptors including what they eat, identification tips, and how we can help conserve these incredible predators in the wild.
