Cortez Public Library will host a session on every third Thursday at 3:00pm entitled "Life Affirming Discussions". This will enable attendees to explore positivity and self-care through affirmations, mindful eating, healthy tips, and related topics.

The Cortez Public Library is looking for hobbyists and crafters who are interested in donating their time to teach a two-hour craft class to the community.

On Friday January 16th, as part of their Teen Gaming Events, Cortez Public Library will be hosting Teen Gaming Hours from 2:00 until 3:30 pm.

The afternoon will feature multiplayer and competitive games like Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Snacks will be provided.

Cortez Public Library will host three nationally successful authors on Tuesday, January 27th from 5:00 to 6:00pm.

Thriller author Mark Stevens from Mancos, murder mystery author, Scott Graham from Durango, and romance author Bethany Turner of Cortez will discuss what it takes to make it in the world of fiction writing today.
