Through the month of August, Mancos Public Library invites the public to share their memories of the Mancos Valley.

Their project, as part of the 150th Anniversary of Colorado, is seeking local folklore, memories and photos to be permanently documented. Further information is available by calling (970) 533 7600.

Cortez Public Library will play host to a puzzle race on Thursday, August 27th from 4:00pm.

Teams of up to 4 people will compete to complete a 500-piece puzzle. This event is open to adults, teens, and families with tweens.

Cortez Public Library will host Teen Hangout Night on Saturday, August 29th from 5:30 to 8:00pm.

The event will feature structured games, books, computers and snacks.

Each First Sunday of the month, Mancos Public Library will host two traditional Kundalini yoga classes at both 7:00 and 9:00am in person and on Zoom.

Hosted by Colette, the class will involve breathing techniques, movement and meditation and these can also be done from a chair.

Every third Friday at 10:00am Cortez Public Library will host Coffee and Crafts.

Seasoned crafters or those just beginning are invited to join and use the provided art supplies, unwind, relax and create.

Durango Public Library will host Colorado Legal Services on Monday, September 28th from 5:30pm for a presentation and assistance with advanced medical directives and simple legal wills.

The Mancos Cowboy Half Marathon, 5K and Kids' Fun Run will take place on Saturday, October 24th from 8:00am at Mancos Library.

The event will be supporting and raising funds for the Mancos Public Library.
