On Saturday, May 30th at 7:00pm The Sunflower Theatre will play host to an evening of live old-time music, joyful movement, and community connection.
Fiddles and Footsteps will feature Durango’s own The Marmot Ridgerunners performing driving old-time fiddle music, with Deb Comly teaching and prompting every dance.

The Sunflower Theatre will screen "Georgia O'Keeffe: The Brightness of Light", on Friday, Friday, June 5th at 7:00pm.
Aided by clips of O’Keeffe herself as she appeared in some films late in her life, this film is an emotional overview of O’Keeffe’s art and life.

On Saturday, June 6th between 3:00 and 5:00pm, The Sunflower Theatre will host a Poetry Workshop titled "A Place We Call Home".
Drawing on the work of Indigenous poets and other writers, Inaugural Poet Laureate of Durango, Esther Belin, will assist participants to generate their own poems celebrating the places that shape and sustain us.
On Saturday, June 6th at 7:00pm, The Sunflower Theatre will host an evening of powerful poetry and storytelling.
In association with the Four Corners Poetry Festival, "A Place We Call Home" will feature local Indigenous poets Kirbie Bennett, Eirene Hamilton, and Esther Belin.

On Tuesday, June 9th from 5:30pm The Sunflower Theatre in association with The Quivira Coalition and Friends will screen “All About a Bird: 1000 Acts of Restoration”.
The second episode of the "Thinking Like Water" series highlights the endangered Gunnison Sage Grouse and how people pull together to save this unique bird. A panel discussion will follow the screening.
