The Sunflower Theatre will host The Quivira Coalition and Chama Peak Alliance on Thursday, February 26th at 5:30pm for a screening of the documentary, "Thinking Like Water".
This compelling 5-part docuseries follows restoration pioneer, Bill Zeedyk and his collaborators as they work to transform degraded watersheds into healthier, more resilient ecosystems.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring local restoration experts and filmmaker Renea Roberts.

As part of their Family Movie Series, on Saturday, February 28th at 1:30pm, School Community Youth Collaborative will screen Dr. Seuss' The Lorax at The Sunflower Theatre.
This beloved film follows 12-year-old Ted as he leaves the artificial city of Thneedville in search of a real tree—and discovers a powerful story about caring for our environment, our choices, and one another.

Following two sell-out screenings, The Sunflower Theatre is offering patrons a final chance to see the Georgia O'Keeffe documentary, "The Brightness of Light", on Friday, March 6th at 7:00pm.
The film explores the life and art of the most important American woman artist of the 20th century.

On Friday, March 20th at 7:00pm, Glen Canyon Institute and Crow Canyon Archaeological Center will screen "What The River Knows", at The Sunflower Theatre.
The evening will open with Glen Canyon Rises, a documentary short from Crow Canyon Archeological Center featuring Hopi archaeologist Lyle Balenquah and author Craig Childs. Then "What The River Knows" explores the reemergence of Glen Canyon from the receding waters of Lake Powell reservoir.
There will be a panel discussion following the screenings.

On Friday, March 27th The Sunflower Theatre will screen the documentary, "Preserved" at 7:00pm and filmmaker, Ben Clark will be in attendance.
This film documents a 558,000-acre living laboratory where rarely seen wildlife behaviors unfold - bears stealing mountain lion kills, microscopic life thriving in seasonal potholes, and animals adapting to a rapidly changing world.
