Community Calendar

Board, dice, and card game sessions take place at Bitterblossom Games on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Bring your own games or play the ones available on site.

As part of their Color Our World Summer Reading Program, Cortez Public Library will play host to an immersive sound bath on Wednesday, July 30th at 5:00pm.

The event is led by local Reiki practitioner, Amy Elizabeth Griffin from Enlightened Health Path and Amy will provide Reiki healing for attendees.

The Over The Hill Gang Cortez Car Club meets on the second Wednesday of each month at the United Methodist Church, located at Empire and Park Streets. Meet and greet begins at 6pm, followed by the meeting at 7pm. Anyone with a love for cars is welcome! For details, call 970-560-1891.

The Zu Gallery will play host to the Akiba Alliance on Wednesday, July 30th at 6:00pm.

Akiba Alliance is an anime club for adults 18+. The club is created and hosted by Maya LaMunyon and all are welcome.

Cortez Tours and CREA will provide a walking art tour through the heart of downtown Cortez on Friday, August 1st at 4:00pm.
Participants can explore four locally-owned galleries and sixteen colorful street murals while uncovering the hidden stories behind the art.

Four Corners Food Not Bombs will provide an opportunity for mutual aid at the pink warehouse at 30 N. Beech Street in Cortez on Sundays from noon to 1:30pm. Everyone is invited, but not required, to bring a vegetarian or vegan dish to share. Needed items include tents, sleeping bags, hygiene supplies, and socks.

The Southwest Colorado eSchool has began enrollment for the 2025 - 2026 school year.
