KSJD listeners are reminded that southwest Colorado and much of the Four Corners are under fire restrictions. All open fires and the use of fireworks are prohibited, and campfires are only permitted in public agency-provided fire grates at developed recreation sites. Smoking on public lands is prohibited except within an enclosed vehicle or building, or at a developed recreation site.
Let’s all work together to keep our lands and communities safe during this dangerous fire season.
