The Sunflower Theatre will play host to the World Ride Movie Night on Friday, January 30th from 7:00pm.
The evening will feature a lineup of powerful women’s mountain biking films that highlight resilience, community, and the transformative joy of riding.
Following the screenings, there will be a panel discussion featuring three women whose experience in cycling, outdoor advocacy, and community building bring depth and insight to the themes reflected in the films.

The Sunflower Theatre will host a Cabin Fever Dance Party with Afrobeatniks on Saturday, January 31st from 7.30pm.
Afrobeatniks are a six-piece band who bring deep Afrobeat grooves, pulsing rhythms, and dance energy.
Kids 12 and under go free but after 9:00pm, the evening becomes an ages 21 plus event.

The Sunflower Theatre will play host to Good Sam's Pantry for a film night and discussion panel on Thursday, January 29th at 7:00pm.
The evening will feature, "A Place at the Table", a powerful documentary exploring hunger, food insecurity, and the families working toward stability in communities across America. Following this, a guided panel discussion will take place.
Hospice of Montezuma is offering a weekly men’s discussion group on Fridays from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
The group is open to men who want a supportive space to talk about what’s been on their minds and hear different perspectives. For more information, call Derek Streeter at 970-565-4400.
Local animal rescue organizations, Obe's Angels, Rachel's Forgotten Felines and For Pets' Sake Humane Society will join forces to host a fundraising event on Saturday, January 31st from 11:30am to 3:30pm at 317 East Main Street, Cortez.
The fundraiser will feature homemade soup, bread, and desserts.

High Desert DEVO, in partnership with Osprey Packs, is hosting Mountainfilm On Tour at the Mancos Opera House on Friday, February 13th starting at 5:30pm.
The evening will feature inspiring and captivating films handpicked from the Mountainfilm festival in Telluride, a silent auction, drinks from El Rio Cantina, sweet delights from DECO Dessert, and live music with Cricket.

Wildedge Brewing Company in Cortez will play host to Squirrel Congress and their Valentine's Day Tea on Saturday, February 14th from 11:30am.
This tea service will celebrate local foods from Montezuma County and proceeds from this event will benefit The Good Food Collective.
Tea will include sandwiches, desserts, and a scone and there will be live music and a self-guided tea leaf reading session at the event.
